Engineer Saja AlBayati Participates in the Strategic Forum of Civil Society Organizations to Support Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity
Engineer Saja AlBayati participated in the Strategic Forum of Civil Society Organizations, which discussed the role of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in building a sustainable digital economy, with broad participation from governmental institutions and local and international civil society organizations.
Engineer Saja AlBayati, President of Hala Sustainable Development Organization, participated in the Strategic Forum of Civil Society Organizations, which was held on February 28, 2025, and organized by the Strategic Foundation for Public Policies in partnership with the National Wisdom Movement and under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The forum witnessed the participation of more than fifty local and international civil society organizations and institutions, alongside official governmental and political representatives, in addition to more than 200 civil society organizations. The discussions focused on the major challenges and opportunities related to sustainable development, digital transformation, and the role of civil society in supporting developmental policies.
During the fourth dialogue session, which focused on the role of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in building a sustainable digital economy, AlBayati emphasized the importance of digital transformation as one of the key tools for enhancing sustainable development and improving the efficiency of services and institutions.
She also highlighted the important role played by civil society organizations in supporting digital innovation, spreading technological awareness, and developing digital solutions, in addition to the importance of strengthening cybersecurity to ensure a secure digital environment for individuals and institutions in line with global technological developments.
AlBayati further stressed the importance of empowering individuals and institutions through awareness programs related to digital rights, digital safety, and digital transformation within governmental institutions. She also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the governmental sector and civil society organizations in order to implement comprehensive and sustainable digital transformation strategies.
This participation comes as part of the ongoing efforts led by Engineer Saja AlBayati in the fields of digital transformation, cybersecurity, and sustainable development through supporting community initiatives aimed at building a more aware, secure, and future-ready digital society.
