On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, Engineer Saja AlBayati, President of Hala Sustainable Development Organization, hosted a luncheon honoring the cleaning staff of Tuz Khurmatu Municipality as an expression of appreciation and gratitude for their daily efforts in preserving the cleanliness of the city and the public environment.

This initiative was organized in coordination with the Popular Relief Organization and under the supervision of Tuz Municipality as part of supporting working communities and highlighting the important humanitarian and service role carried out by municipal cleaning staff within society.

During the event, AlBayati emphasized that this sector represents one of the essential pillars for maintaining organized and civilized public life, stressing the importance of supporting workers, improving their living and working conditions, and providing a more stable and fair working environment.

She also called for greater official attention toward workers’ rights and municipal services, as well as the development of sustainable solutions that contribute to ensuring job stability and improving the quality of services provided to citizens. Furthermore, she affirmed that respecting and appreciating workers’ efforts is a fundamental part of social justice and community responsibility.
